About the MFA?
The Maynard Family Association (MFA) is based in Maynard, Massachusetts and is a non-profit group of local parents working together to provide social support and parenting resources for families with young children. This wonderful organization was founded in 1998 and currently has approximately 120 member families. Our slogan is "Bringing Families Together" and we do this in a variety of ways. The MFA offers themed events throughout the year, monthly storytimes, playgroups, a babysitting coop, a book club, Mom's AND Dad's nights out, and much, much, more.
The MFA is supported in part by First Connections, a Massachusetts Department of Education regional program that links families to community resources, and its sponsoring organization, The Justice Resource Institute.
